On "Black Friday," Dad and I skipped shopping and decided to hang Christmas lights. It was raining outside and even started to snow. But we finished, which was good. One less thing on Dad's "To Do" list. I love my Dad because even though he has lots and lots to do, he always lets me help. Even if it slows him down...a lot.

Thanksgiving Weekend
On Thanksgiving night, we put up our Christmas tree. I was so excited I could barely contain myself. Since the tree has been up (just a few days), I have rearranged the ornaments at least 50 times. I even pulled a stool over so I could reach the ones at the top to "change them" as I tell Mom. In fact, right now, most of the ornaments are concentrated in one or two areas of the tree. I think that it irritates Dad a little bit, but Mom doesn't care about stuff like that...she just says "oh, it's fine."

November Update
Mom isn't doing a great job updating the blog. I think it's because my baby brother (still in her belly until February) is really giving her a run for her money. Mom is sick a lot and when she's not sick, she's working, or cleaning up the house or something other than blogging!
There isn't much of an update. November went by fast; but it was still a pretty slow month in terms of "fun." Mom went to Dallas for a week; and Dad went to Las Vegas for a few days. Both travelled for work.
Then, before we knew it; it was Thankgiving! We spent Thanksgiving with my Lola and Papa eating turkey and playing around at their house for a few hours. Mom got really sick from eating turkey and had to go to the hospital. She can't really eat much other than PB&J and a little bit of chicken and pasta or she gets super sick. She tells my Dad "this baby is kicking my ass." I tell her "ass is a bad word."
This is me at the table waiting for my Thanksgiving dinner.

Halloween Night
Saturday evening, we went to the Conway's house and had a pizza party before we went Trick-or-Treating. I was an Aquabat (if you don't know what an Aquabat is, google them or visit www.theaquabats.com), my friend Regan (age 3, almost 4) was Scooby-Doo and Hayden (age 6) was Captain Rex from Star Wars. I was absolutely amazed by his costume as you'll see in pictures below. I couldn't take my eyes off him!
We are so happy we could spend so much time with the Conway's this weekend because at the end of November, Mrs. Conway is heading to Iraq for 6 whole months! Mommy will definetly miss her friend, but not as much as Regan and Hayden will miss their mommy. It will be a tough 6 months for them. Lucky for me, I will still get to see my friends while their mommy is gone because MY mommy and daddy plan on helping Mr. Conway as much as they can and since Daddy is also designing Mr. Conway's campaign materials for him (he is running for judge), we'll probably see them more often than we think over the next 6-8 months.
NOW, check us out in our AWESOME Halloween costumes:
This is me getting ready before we head out for the night.

Didn't Daddy do a GREAT job on my costume? Look at the detail on my belt.

Totally in awe of Hayden in his Captain Rex costume.

It's dark enough...heading out to get some candy!

Crazy Halloween Weekend
Wow! We were busy on Halloween weekend. On Friday night, we went to the National Guard's "Safe Halloween" event with our dear friends, the Conways (Mommy's friend April is in the National Guard which is how we get to attend all these cool holiday events every year). As usual, the National Guard put together a GREAT night. Here is a list of all the fun stuff we did:
-Decorated a cookie
-Played Halloween games
-Chose a pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch
-Walked through at least three Haunted Houses (i.e. buildings on the base)--I wasn't scared at all!
-Trick-or-treating at all the buildings on the base
Mom had her camera but we didn't get any good pictures because it was really dark and the flash on the camera wasn't working.
On Saturday afternoon, I went to my friend Emily's birthday party. She is 5-years-old now. I like older women, what can I say? Anyway, Tinkerbell showed up at her party too! I didn't really know who Tinkerbell was but all of the girls LOVED her. I sat and listened to her tell stories and sing too, and by the end, I was pretty amazed by Tinkerbell just like everyone else. Check her out:

Halloween Program
There was a Halloween Program at my pre-school on Thursday morning. All of the pre-school classes (followed by the Kindergarden class) sang Halloween songs for an audience filled with parents.
This is me and my friend, Colin making scary faces before the show.

The pied piper (a.k.a. my Dad). All the kids LOVE him.

On stage! From left to right: Annie, Colin and me.

Although there were microphones set up in front of the stage, we wanted to make sure that ALL the parents could hear us singing our hearts out. Okay, I admit it, we were sort of just yelling the words to the songs at this point! But it still melted hearts across the room!

Daddy of the Year
For Halloween, I really wanted to be an Aquabat. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Aquabats, they are a band out of L.A. Google them. And to answer your question before you ask...yes, Mom and Dad reluctantly let me listen to their music, which Mom simply calls "noise." Okay...let's face it. Mom CANNOT stand the music or the Aquabats-not one bit- but she figures that while this might be the FIRST thing that I like and she doesn't; it won't be the LAST.
Anyway, since it is impossible to find a toddler (or for that matter, an adult) Aquabat costume, my Dad had to make me one. When I say "make me one" i mean "sew me one." He bought material, and borrowed a sewing machine from one of his co-workers. Then, Ashley (Mommy's friend from college) taught him how to use the machine and off he went! You'll see pictures of my Aquabat costume later this week. In the meantime, get a load of this (I think he's going to get Daddy of the Year"):

October
iPhoto is finally working! All Daddy had to do was upgrade iLife. Now we can update you on October happenings.
A few weeks ago, we went to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a nice afternoon. We chose pumpkins, ran through a corn maze and then went on a hayride. This was the beginning of our "Halloween" season.
